One Place Church Family,
I want to update you on what the next few weeks look like for our faith family. One of the things that we are hearing from so many people is how their schedule has been thrown off in this time of uncertainty, so we wanted to let you know about several things you can count on. Our church will stay consistent. We are here for you; you can count on that.
First let’s talk about our Sunday gatherings. We will be meeting for Church Online again this Sunday. We have added two new Church Online opportunities and we continue to see our reach grow. On week two, our reach grew by 400%! God is using you in this season to be the light and hope of Jesus in our city, region, and beyond, as we are having people join in from all over the country and even across the world.
This Sunday we are excited to introduce our new Church Online platform! Our new platform gives us an increased opportunity to connect with everyone who joins online through a custom chat room. It will also give us a better way to follow up with first time guests, prayer requests, and people who give their lives to Jesus. I want to encourage you to jump on with us at live.oneplacechurch.com. Our gathering times are:
We will also continue to stream our services to our Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram Live feeds. Last Sunday it was so amazing to see how active everyone was in the chat, so be sure and jump in this weekend, comment, share, and help us create an incredible experience for everyone.
Also, we are going to continue to provide resources for your kids during this time. Every Sunday we will have incredible activities, interactive videos, and opportunities for you and your kids to worship together. Parents, we will email you easy links to all of these resources, and they can also all be found in a link in our bio on our @oneplacechurch Instagram feed.
Our hearts are really leaning into our middle school and high school students in this season. We will continue to have VOX Online every Tuesday night at 6:30pm, so be sure and tell your students to join us! Our student leaders are also currently leading a Bible study for our students through YouVersion. For all the details and to stay up to date, be sure and follow our student movement on Instagram @VoxMvmnt.
One final thing. Now that we have been given a “stay at home” order from our governor, it is more important than ever that you stay connected in community. I really want to encourage you to not isolate relationally and spiritually in this season. All of our One Place Groups are now doing their groups online. If you are not in a One Place Group, now is the time to join one. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In the midst of all of this chaos and uncertainty, I am so grateful to be a part of a church who is not afraid to use technology to love and reach our city, region, and beyond. We can’t wait to be with you for Church Online on Sunday. God bless you.
Love You All,
Pace and Sarah Hartfield
